Kim Kang Hoon is a South Korean actor born in Cheongju, South Korea. In 2013, he debuted on MBC every1's entertainment show "Mom and Dad from Today (오늘부터 엄마아빠). In February 2022, it was announced that he had signed an exclusive contract with Awesome ENT. This would be his first agency after working without an agency for 9 years since his debut. At the 2019 KBS Drama Awards, he won the Best Young Actor Award and garnered a nomination for the Best Couple Award for his role in "When the Camellia Blooms". In 2020, at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards, he garnered a nomination as Best New Actor - Television for his role in "When The Camellia Blooms|. At the 2020 MBC Entertainment Awards, he won the Rookie Award in the Variety Category for his appearances in "King of Mask Singer", "Those Who Cross the Line", and "Omniscient Interfering View".
