Times may have been a little simpler, less technological, but it was still just as difficult to get through a typical day in the life in the late 1980s. Five childhood friends, all living in the same Ssangmundong neighborhood in Seoul, support each other to survive complex adolescence and forge a path for the future. Sung Deok Sol (Hyeri) struggles for attention being the middle child in his poor family, while also carrying the burden of having the 989th place in school. Kim Jung Hwan (Ryu Joon Yeol) only has one thing on his mind, soccer, even after his family becomes rich overnight. Sung Woo Sun (Ko Gyung Pyo) is the perfect student, Student Council President and an attentive and reliable son in his family.
